We are currently seeking a highly skilled Sign-off Front-End Implementation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful sign-off of front-end implementation flows, including synthesis timing closure, SpyGlass CDC/RDC checks, low-power architecture, and Formality verification. This role requires expertise in front-end implementation methodologies and proficiency in one or more protocols such as AMBA, DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and UFS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Synthesis Timing Closure: Lead the synthesis timing closure process using DC/Fusion Compiler to meet timing requirements.
  • CDC/RDC Checks: Perform comprehensive SpyGlass CDC/RDC checks to ensure the integrity of clock domain crossings.
  • Low-Power Architecture: Implement and verify low-power architecture designs, ensuring compliance with power constraints and specifications.
  • Formality Verification: Conduct Formality verification to ensure functional equivalence between RTL and synthesized netlists.
  • Protocol Knowledge: Utilize expertise in protocols such as AMBA (APB, AXI, CHI), DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and UFS to address design requirements and challenges.
  • Implementation Sign-off: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sign-off on front-end implementation flows within project timelines.

Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of sign-off procedures, methodologies, and results for reference and future projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end implementation flows and sign-off processes.
  • Proficiency in synthesis timing closure using DC/Fusion Compiler, SpyGlass CDC/RDC checks, low-power architecture, and Formality verification.
  • Strong understanding of protocols such as AMBA, DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and UFS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
